    Description

    A really nice 1/2 liter lidded stoneware stein made by Merkelbach & Wick for the Pscorr-Brau brewery in Munich.  It is well marked with the M&W mark used between 1880 and 1921.  It has an heavy embossed pewter lid.  It is 5-3/8" tall to the top of the lid and 3-3/4" across the base.  The lid has a dark aged pewter color on the outside but, is still quite bright underneath.  There are no chips or cracks to the stoneware and the lid works and seats properly with no looseness at the handle attachment
